Our Mission
You are invited to visit one of our local meetings and experience it for yourself. Each month there are yummy snacks, an exciting program, and an opportunity to meet other retirees who share many of the same experiences you love and cherish.

RARTA publishes a monthly newsletter and emails a copy to all members. We would love to send you a newsletter if you could provide an email address. You will find interesting articles, reminders of upcoming meetings, legislative updates, and more.
OUR MISSION
Rockwall Area Retired Teachers Association
RARTA MISSION STATEMENT
¨ shall promote the professional, economic, intellectual, social, and physical well-being of its members;
¨ shall encourage volunteer opportunities in the community.
¨ shall participate in the Book Project to provide books for elementary students in Rockwall and Royse City ISD and other service projects to benefit those in the community;
¨ shall provide updated legislative information and communicate with representatives in Austin to keep teacher annuity secure and maintain good insurance benefits at a reasonable cost and push for a cost-of-living adjustment.
